Martin's interest
in mission critical embedded systems saw him join the development
team for Australia's Collins Class Submarines followed by both hardware
and software development for Sydney International Airport's voice
switching and control system.
Martin has extensive
experience in the telecommunications sector where he has lead the
development of both hardware and software for the next generation
voice/data switches. An interest in broadband service delivery and
IP technologies has seen him lead, as Principle Engineer and Project
Leader, the development of ATM switches and IP routers.
As Project Leader,
Martin has experience in creating and fostering teams employing
development best practice. As an experienced practitioner, Martin
has developed techniques focused on use case analysis to deliver
complex projects. He has strong experience in Software Configuration
Management processes and tools. Martin introduced into Fujitsu,
and developed CM plans around, one of the world's leading tools:
Rational's ClearCase.
Martin has experience
in hardware, FPGA/ASIC and software development together with experience
delivering embedded systems through to complex turnkey systems.
Martin obtained
his B.Eng (Honors) in 1991 from the Royal Melbourne Institute of
Technology.
